Gladfest: For twenty six years, this major Northland event has drawn crowds in the tens of thousands, and brings with it enormous publicity for Gladstone as well as the businesses involved in making it happen. "Gladfest 26: Gladfiesta" celebrated 26 wonderful years of Gladfest. On Saturday evening we hold a "Gladstone Idol" contest. This contest is open to all Northland residents 16 years of age or older. Ponch with Mix 93.3 was the celebrity judge for the contest. A band will play live music at Central Park on Friday. On Saturday, Center Stage at Gladfiesta there will be FREE Entertainment! Other Gladfest activities included commercial and craft tents, excellent food, a carnival, live entertainment, a Kid's Corner, a Saturday morning parade and much, much more.
