Northtown Features Live Music All Summer Long

North Kansas City’s Friday in the Park and Saturday in the Square Concert Series will begin in June and continue every week through September. Friday in the Park features top area bands at the Macken Park Festival Shelter each Friday, 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. June 6 through September. The Saturday in the Square Jazz Jams use beautiful Town Square, 321 Armour Rd., as the venue for local and national artists, who create a more spontaneous mix of music from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m.

At the Friday concerts, free prize drawings and other fun activities complement music, fresh air and the stage’s backdrop of scenic Missouri River bluffs. Performances are sponsored by area businesses in conjunction with the Federation of Musician’s Trust Fund and the City of North Kansas City.
